General:
I’m 28 and completed my degree based at the University of Central Lancashire in the summer of 2005. Graduating with a 2,1 grade overall I’m now working as a senior developer for ZoomBits Ltd, working with a team of 5 full time developers and 3 graphic designers. I work in a very fasy paced enviroment and this keeps me on my toes most days. ZoomBits head office is based in Jersey, but has offices in Germany, Preston as well as a warehouse in Switzerland.
Prior to this I studied for a HNC in Computer Science at Blackpool and the Fylde College at the Bispham Campus. I completed this course in 2005 before starting University.

Education:
After gaining ten GCSEs at Lytham St.Annes High School, all grades A to C. I decided to take A–levels in Business Studies, Graphics and Computing. Within this range of subjects, I particularly enjoyed Computing and therefore decided to develop this interest further through taking a HNC in Computer Science at night school. I saw this as a stepping–stone that would lead me to University. I enjoyed working with computers but became interested in graphics and the Internet, which led me to my degree course.
Qualifications:
10 GCSE’s Grade A – C including English, Maths & Science, A–levels: Computer Science – D, Graphics – C, HNC Computer Science – PASS, BSc Web & Multimedia – Upper Second (2,1).
Employment History:
Memorybits Internation Ltd, Preston, October 2008 – Present Day.
Responsibilities include: Site maintenance, repairs and upgrades. Looking after our internal systems, SEO, Payment module integrations, assisting the rest of the team wherever they may need help and suport.
Bespoke Internet, Preston, May 2005 to October 2008.
Responsibilities include: Product/site development in PHP, conforming sites to web standards, upgrades and repairs to existing sites, Search Engine optimisation, and building / managing and maintaining bespoke content management systems.
